About

My name is Jordan. I’m a searcher of Truth. I believe in the Nicene Creed. I want to find Him in everything…especially places others don’t bother to look. I am a ponderer, explorer, and out of the box thinker. He is everywhere and I am bound and determined to find Him there. My blog is about processing and examine dogmas, doctrines, and beliefs Berean style. It’s not meant to propagate a particular doctrine, dogma, or ideology. I may bend towards certain beliefs (if you like labels, I don’t, then I would be a Charismatic) but God is bigger. I lean on, rely on, and cleave to the Lord Jesus Christ. He is Truth and all things are contained in Him for He created all things. From Him, through Him, and for Him are all things. Jesus is perfect theology. As He is so am I in this world.

    1. In my opinion when mining perfection is in the eye of the beholder. I enjoy the the rough ones. You hardly find a “perfect” one when mining. Without broken vessels the flowers on the side of the path may never get watered. Though I do believe the Kingdom of God is like a polished stone.

  1. Hello…

Here’s a little message from Türkiye to say “thank you”. I appreciate your recent ‘follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs there are out there. We may follow different paths, but we all seek the same I believe – let’s hope that we can each find that same peace in our lives, and beyond.

Blogging since June 2013, my little corner of the world tries to offer an eclectic smattering of posts, from basic amateur photography, to sharing my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey. I also throw in a few of my observations on life and lighter-hearted stuff for good measure.

You are more than welcome to have a look around, stay a while and have a trawl through my small collection. There are plenty of drop-down categories within the menu bar to help in said digging process. Of course, if you have any comments, suggestions or concerns, feel free to let me know – I’m not easily offended 🙂

Thanks again and hope you have a great day…

  3. Now that’s what I like to find, an about page that is straight to the point. So let me thank you for your visit to my page, and now that I’ve hit the follow button, I guess I’ll be popping back in here to see what else you have in store. Until then, God bless and have a really great New Year.

  7. Hi, one of your followers here. In a recent post, you used a photo of scripture with “Follow Me” as the highlighted text. Is this your photo, and if so, may I re-use it? Or, is it a common domain photo and do you have the address to where you got it? Thanks a bunch!! Blessings, the Lord guide you and your visionary blog!

  8. I’m not a follower of Christ so much as a follower/searcher of the Truth. I believe it is the same thing. Whatever. What you wrote above opened my heart. Thank you.
And thank you for following our blog. I hope you enjoy the stories of our journey. And don’t be a stranger – come on over and join the conversation.
    Blessings,
    Alison

  12. Amen, especially to ” I lean on, rely on, and cleave to the Lord Jesus Christ… From Him, through Him, and for Him are all things. Jesus is perfect theology. As He is so am I in this world.” I thank God for delivering us from darkness and putting us here in the heavenly realms at His right hand in Christ, in kingly intercession for His purposes to be accomplished here on earth. Looking forward to seeing how He will grow us through each other’s blogs!
