My name is Jordan. I’m a searcher of Truth. I believe in the Nicene Creed.
I want to find Him in everything…especially places others don’t bother to look. I am a ponderer, explorer, and out of the box thinker.
He is everywhere and I am bound and determined to find Him there. My blog is about processing and examine dogmas, doctrines, and beliefs Berean style. It’s not meant to propagate a particular doctrine, dogma, or ideology. I may bend towards certain beliefs (if you like labels, I don’t, then I would be a Charismatic) but God is bigger. I lean on, rely on, and cleave to the Lord Jesus Christ. He is Truth and all things are contained in Him for He created all things. From Him, through Him, and for Him are all things. Jesus is perfect theology. As He is so am I in this world.
I do find your Messages food for thought Jordan and I appreciated your response and so I will look forward to sharing with you on our Blogs. Just wondering what do you look for when your deciding to follow a Blog? Integrity and sharing God’s Truth with the confirmation of Scripture are very important to me when I follow someone.
Christian Love and Blessings – Anne.

I follow some for different viewpoints, others for sharing same viewpoints, and others to learn from. I don’t spend a terrible long time on WordPress but I try to when i can. Still others I follow due to mutual friends on WordPress.

Hi Jordan,
If you ever decide to write a blog on this topic, i’d be interested in your thoughts on ‘dignity’ vs ‘pride’ – for example, when God works on you so that you lose your pride, do you also lose your dignity, …. if so, how to keep dignity while losing your pride… if you’ve lost dignity but maintain pride, is there any way to reverse that…. is pride the same as ego….. whether as Christians we are supposed to defend ourselves against emotional or spiritual abuse, or whether Christ’s mandate in Matthew 5:39-41 means we should not. Does God avenge us against other Christians or does the fact that they’re under the blood of Christ negate His vengeance. Does the person who follows Matthew 5:39-41 lose their dignity by allowing the other person to take advantage. on the other hand, if they defend themselves against the abuser, are they being prideful.
Thanks for reading & have a blessed Christmas season!

I’ll pray about that! In the meantime there is a good teaching about From Shame to Dignity by Arthur Burk at https://theslg.com/cd-albums/483-shame-to-dignity.html.

Personal dignity vs pride? Not much difference to me. Check out the prophets of old and the early apostles of Christ. God avenges demons and the devil himself. It is the Lord’s vengeance and not our own. We, who are of Christ, living under Jesus’ leadership through the Holy Ghost, forgive, without being asked to, so God will forgive us (see Luke 6:37-38 & Matthew 6:14-15). There is NO pride in our lives in Christ and ALL dignity belongs to the Father of us all. Now, go ahead and be proud of your children, but don’t be blinded by it. JUST MY 2 CENTS WORTH.

Hi Jordan –
I saw a “follow” on my blog and want to thank you for taking a look. Hope you were blessed. Likewise, I often check out the blogs of those who follow, and at times find like-minded people, committed to letting God be God and content to follow Him. That appears to be the case here, based on a few pages I viewed. Just want to say, “Keep up the good work!”
Blessings to you and your readers!
